Sadik Haba, M.D.
Dr. Haba graduated with honors from Washington & Jefferson College located in Washington, PA with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. After completing medical school at the University College Dublin in Ireland, also graduating with honors, he then began his General Surgery Internship at Tufts Medical Center (the flagship teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine) in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Haba then finished his Anesthesiology residency at Tufts Medical Center and was voted by his professors the most outstanding resident graduate of his class. With a keen interest in Interventional Pain medicine, Dr. Haba then completed his fellowship training at the world renowned Harvard Medical School. Once again, he was voted by his professors at Harvard to receive the award for the best fellow graduate of the year. He was then invited to stay on as staff at the prestigious Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center serving as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School teaching residents and fellows the art and science of Interventional Pain medicine. It was during this time that Dr. Haba also received advanced training in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery from the pioneers and leaders in this field in the United States and in Germany. From there he was commissioned to start the first Minimally Invasive Spinal Intervention facility in the country of Jordan. This opportunity afforded a unique and one of a kind experience to further advance Dr. Haba's already vast knowledge in spinal pain care.
Dr. Haba is bi-boarded by the American Board of Medical Specialties in both Anesthesiology and in Pain Medicine. He has attended and taught numerous courses and labs in his field. Although well versed with the gamut of Interventional Pain Medicine & Surgery, he has extensive experience and passion for Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery for the treatment of herniated discs and spinal stenosis.
Dr. Haba is on staff at MDPC's Ambulatory Surgery Center, as well as Rockdale Medical Center and at Athens General Hospital.
