Joshua E. Brown | NP
Joshua E. Brown, NP is a board certified Nurse Practitioner. Initially, he obtained his BA in Psychology from Tuskegee University. During matriculation, he found his passion in mitigating health disparities that plague underserved populations. This led to his desire to become a Nurse Practitioner. After graduating with honors, he received his Bachelors in Nursing from Emory University where his passion was Intensive Care Medicine. After a few years with Grady Health System, he completed his NP training (MSN) with Emory University under full merit scholarship. While at Emory, he focused his research on the disparities of African American LGBT+ members and HIV. Since matriculation at Emory, he has worked with the following areas: Internal Medicine, Ambulatory Surgery, Hospice, Personal Injury, and Pain Management. His favorite aspect of practice is managing the underserved- the individuals that may not see a provider for many years. He is currently an active member of Sigma Theta Tau and ANA. Outside of work, he enjoys singing and exercising.
