Regional Medical Group’s CEO, Dr. Mark Schwaiger, Releases Statement Postponing Personal Injury Networking Event Tour of 2020 Due to Coronavirus Pandemic

ATLANTA, GA, March 18, 2020 — Regional Medial Group (RMG) today announced its decision to temporarily put on hold the Personal Injury Networking Event Tour of 2020 until further notice, effective as of Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

The following statement was released by Dr. Mark Schwaiger, Chairman, and CEO of Regional Medial Group:

“As the coronavirus pandemic has swept America over the past week, the team at Regional Medial Group has worked to try and find a way to continue delivering a groundbreaking networking experience for our attendees, while keeping our staff in a safe and sanitary environment. Welcoming industry professionals from across the state of Georgia is what we do, and our team takes enormous pride in their work. Unfortunately, this must come to a halt.

Despite our commitment to allocating additional resources to cleanliness and health, it is now apparent that the current public health crisis is on the next level, unlike anything our nation has seen. A situation that requires collective action and unity across the board if we are to slow its spread.

Accordingly, we will halt the Regional Medical Group Personal Injury Event Tour as of Wednesday, March 18, 2020, for the good of our team, our guests, and the local industry in Georgia. While this is a time of uncertainty for many across the world, we must all do our part to slow the spread of this dangerous virus. We must also thank the doctors, nurses, and medical professionals who put their lives on the line to treat and fight against this virus. Thank you for your bravery.

The tour will resume as soon as our global and national health officials deem it safe to do so. In the meantime, we will continue to support our practitioners and local communities in every way that we can during this period.”
